No one really wants to die, but it's just as important as being born. No one can live forever and this book is a great way to show kids why no one can or would want to. I liked how the author showed how the fountain of youth works by using a frog that can't die. Winnie starts to feel sorry for the frog but you have to read to find out why! Trust me, this is a great book to read.
Best Seattle Search Engine Optimization click heregrace crawfordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08741536528167580928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-28812141604460750232010-01-17T14:48:31.176-05:002010-01-17T14:48:31.176-05:00I love this book!!!I love this book!!!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-67627161266560300452009-08-03T23:07:26.385-04:002009-08-03T23:07:26.385-04:00I don't think this is a fair assessment of the...I don't think this is a fair assessment of the book at all. As a kid, my mother died rather untimely and horrifically. I read Tuck for the first time a year or so after the fact, and it did a lovely, truthful and enchanting job of making sense of the necessity of death. I reread the book during the first week of August every year (when the story takes place) and I am still as awestruck by it in my mid twenties as I was as a kid. Same goes for my sixty some year old dad. I think that perhaps "adult" writers who wax on about fear of death might take a cue from the beautifully simple message of this book. Death hurts, death is scary, death can be ugly. But it is certainly necessary. You are not the hub of the ferris wheel, you're merely along for the ride. This message touches on more than physical death, but change in general.julia.angelinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12083226676331404043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-92024271143919824492009-02-25T22:15:00.000-05:002009-02-25T22:15:00.000-05:00This book is awesome!:bThis book is awesome!:bMayra Platerohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08821450449728827420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-13225350284010200452008-09-19T12:18:00.000-04:002008-09-19T12:18:00.000-04:00Bridge to Terabithia is a great book.
