I don't know if I missed something major further back or if it was left open what happened to Peter & Jamie. If anyone knows, please email me!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07445643862085625826noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-82975451895666659032009-05-06T12:32:00.000-04:002009-05-06T12:32:00.000-04:00I have never been so annoyed at a fictional charac...I have never been so annoyed at a fictional character. How messed up could he be that he'd throw away the best thing since Peter and Jamie died just b/c he didn't know how to deal with that night? And to only realize that he truly loved Cassie when she was completely out of reach. I wished for something more to suggest what happened to Peter and Jamie. There's not enough to really pin a theory.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-15613594956146546052009-02-02T02:37:00.000-05:002009-02-02T02:37:00.000-05:00Yeah the open ending on the '84 storyline was kind...Yeah the open ending on the '84 storyline was kind of a letdown, but really how could she have satisfactorily tied that up?

A kid has strange claw marks (which is clearly what they are even though no one in the book actually suggests that they might be) on his shirts and shoes FILLED with blood. Not soaked in blood. FILLED with blood. Thats messed up! I really think it's better to just leave it unanswered and not put a disappointing conclusion on a great story.Jimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03855060297456431002noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-934096967055481899.post-81526327829527789022009-02-01T20:38:00.000-05:002009-02-01T20:38:00.000-05:00I agree completely. Either way, Ryan was such a psychologically messed up character that it was a really interesting story to follow.Nathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18280694358337916814noreply@blogger.com
